Merry Christmas!!! We hope everyone had a great holiday season and Santa found all of your houses and stockings. This year instead of going over the river and through the woods to Grandma's house, we went over the river and through the woods to Yellowstone...well, Island Park, Idaho to be more specific. Camille's parents were kind enough to rent a cabin. We got up there late on Christmas Eve and immediately set out to bring as much Christmas cheer into the cabin by decorating a tree. Camille's sister, Jill is so excited she can't stop smiling...and if you look real, real, real close, you may be able to see Camille's baby bump.
One may think that because Adam was relaxing in the recliner that he didn't have any Christmas spirit, but that would be a wrong assumption. He was actually really tired after having driven all day in snow storms to arrive at the cabin. He was also very into A White Christmas, which was showing on tv.
Christmas morning was magical!! It was snowing and very pretty outside. Inside Santa had delivered lots of little goodies. Camille and Jill were like little kids as they stared at all the wonderful things Santa had brought.
Adam has grown a lot this year. He has been eating very healthy foods and been a very good boy. He grew so much that all his clothes he got for Christmas didn't fit. Only kidding, Santa was even good to the spawn of Adam...Santa was so good that he even knows our little baby will be a BYU fan.
Adam was even ready to go to work on Christmas morning. He said he was going to wear this very outfit to court when he got back. You could see in his face that he was dead serious, but Camille kindly explained that the pants may be a bit much.
Camille's dad, Dennis got into the act of opening presents by placing a crown of fig leaves on his head. You may have to look close, but you can see Dennis was crowned the King of Christmas morning. After this he ordered the servants of the house to "Make me breakfast, I am starving!!"

Camille's mom and sister got in the hot tub later in the afternoon of Christmas. It was super cold outside and Camille (being with child and all) only stood and watched.
The day after Christmas we went snow shoeing into Yellowstone. At first we thought it was fun and neat to run around in what felt like oversized flip flops. However, after about 20 minutes of walking on a trail, we were getting pooped. After two hours we were covered in sweat and wishing we had skiis. It was a neat experience and very pretty, but next time we will make sure to bring a sled with dogs. Note: Adam couldn't help but do a Heisman pose.
Camille and her mom, Terri stopped to take a break and wipe the sweat from their brows. Adam had practically stripped down to nothing because he got so hot...and frankly, no one wants to see a picture of that.
After our nice hike through the park we stopped off to get a picture. Adam claims we look like ski bums with our sunglasses on and our laid back attitude look. Camille says we just look tired.
After our strenious work out at the park, we came back and decided to brave the cold weather and get in the hot tub. The tub was a ways from the house and it was cold outside. Adam was ready to go and looked oh so good. Camille is still surprised that he has recieved no calls to be the cover model in the next Sports Illustrated swim suit issue.

We had a family reunion in Island Park this last summer. It was beautiful and I think you should go back in July when it's warmer and celebrate Christmas again. :)
