Call Mr. Plow

We have not been sad this year that we have not gotten a lot of snow.  However, Grady has not been happy.  He is obsessed with shoveling.  Every morning he wakes up and the first thing he says is "I shovel!"
We constantly have to tell him that there is no snow to shovel.  Last week a big storm blew in and he could hardly contain himself.
His mom got him all dressed up in his snow gear with his hat, boots, and gloves.  He sprinted as fast as he could to the shovel, and out he went.
Grandma then came to visit and taught him how to shovel the snow into the bird bath.  So, that is now the preferred activity.
Adam is happy knowing that he will no longer have to get up in the early morning hours to shovel the snow because Grady can do it.
The other thing that Grady loves is to read books and cuddle on his chair.  The other day Camille couldn't find him.  She looked all around the house and finally found him snuggled up on his chair with a good book, his blanky, and his binky.
Nothing like a good read.  Note:  Adam thinks this position looks so incredibly uncomfortable and says his back would ache so bad he wouldn't be walking for a week.
It was also Camille's birthday.  Grady has figured a few things out about birthdays.  1- Blowing out candles. 2- How to say happy birthday, although, it is more of a "Happy Momma" and 3 - Opening presents is the coolest thing in the world, but must be done little piece by little piece.
Grady had the pleasure of fulfilling all of the birthday activities with his mom this year.  It was a great birthday.  Note:  Despite the candle, Camille did not turn one this year...we didn't have anything else, so we recycled.
