"This month is such a special one, it's birthday time for you!" A catchy little Primary tune, that Adam brags he can play on the piano, is actually appropriate because it was Camille's birthday on Feb. 13. Camille's parents made the long journey to see us. They were our first visitors, and so we treated them right by making them bring the birthday cake, and kicking them out of the house by 8...we are such hospitable hosts. (note: Camille's parents had to get back home and Adam is a terrible baker.)
The cake was Skor Cake, which causes many stomachs to sigh with hunger pangs. Camille's mom was an expert candle lighter, and Camille's Dad does what he does best...supervise.

The birthday girl was all smiles as she thought of a good wish moments before blowing out her candles. Adam kept yelling "A million dollars, wish for a million dollars!!"

Moments after blowing out her candles, the house was overrun with poltergeists...or, perhaps magic pixy dust, granting Camille her wishes...or perhaps, just smoke from her candles...you be the judge.

Adam has always been known for his crappy wrapping. At Christmas time, Camille's sister ofter refers to Adam as "Crappy Wrappy." This year, Adam did not dissappoint!! However, he did add a twist. Instead of a bow (because he couldn't find a ribbon) he took old wrapping paper and taped it to the top of the present. Shockingly, it looked almost proffessional...but, probably not.

After Camille's parents left Adam had a plan to surprise Camille for Valentines Day by showering her with gifts. Adam wanted Camille to wake up the next morning to a full display of material love. So, to do this, Adam devised a plan to play XBox until Camille went to bed. Usually Camille is out cold by 10:00pm. However, that night she was up until almost 1:30am, watching "John and Kate plus 8." Adam was so tired, but waited until Camille finally went to bed. With some help from Cupid, he then set up "Material love fest '09"

Every year Adam will give some candy and some super cheezy valentine gift. However, this year Adam decided to go a different route and had a theme. The elephant is holding a heart that says "I'm nuts about you." Therefore, everything on the table had somehting to do with nuts (it was mainly snack food for Camille's work). That Adam is such a brilliant husband.

After Camille had discovered Cupid's visit, Adam made her breakfast. Eggs, fresh from the farm, were cooked. Although, in this picture Adam looks a little eggcentric...oh man..that was a bad joke!! Perhaps, Adam should have just said "This is your brain...this is your brain on drugs..."

Camille's coworker is a straight up farm girl. Luckily for us, she offered to give us half a pig (and no, not Adam's lower half). She butchered the pork and we got all the meat. So Adam prepared some of the greatest tasting bacon ever.

That evening we had a nice romantic dinner where some shrimp were cooked.

Some Alfredo was delicatley stirred. (note: Camille's flashy and festive finger nail polish)

The table was set along with the mood. To help was some liquid courage...Martinellis. Adam says it is just carbonated apple juice...but it helps us mormons feel more romantic.

And for dessert was Adam in all of his glory!!!
