Happy Doughnut Day '09

We know many children and cops could barely sleep on the night of June 4th, for they knew that a certain fat elfish man would be making rounds the next day...becuase on June 5th, it was DOUGHNUT DAY!!!In honor of one of our favorite holidays, we had to prepare properly, so we went and got some sandwiches, quickly ate them, and put on our magic aprons, ready to roll (oh yes, pun intended!)Camille, the little doughnut elf she is, had spread the ingrediants out before her, ready to create a magical pastry that many a law enforcement officer has succombed to.
Adam had to slap Camille's hand away more than once as she attempted to reach in and sneak bites of the dough. On a side note, Adam thought that was disgusting, who eats raw dough...magic doughnut elves DO NOT eat enchanted dough.

Adam was the deep fry guy elf. We decided to make a different shape than last year's doughnuts. They cooked much faster, but still were filled with enchanted goodness and flavor.
The Head Elf himself...Adam was very happy to be making the doughnuts. Camille had to slap his hand away many times from eating the doughnuts after they were fried. On a side note, dough after it is fried and covered in sugar and cinnamon is absolutley amazing!! Magic Doughnut Elves DO eat as many fried doughnuts as possible.
The finished product before we made our doughnut run to all the good little families in our neighborhood.
If you look closely you can see that Adam made sure that each Doughnut had a magical touch. That magical touch was a good inch or two of sugar and cinnamon. He kept saying that these doughnuts are a dieters delight because we cut the middles out...so he could eat two or three more than he did last year.
Camille's face was pure ecstasy and pleasure as she tore apart an enchanted Doughnut. Adam kept trying to think of Doughnut Day Carols to sing, but they all sounded more like the themes from McDonalds.
Welcome to Doughnut land...a place that is kind of like Chuck-o-rama, but with doughnuts!!Adam, the head doughnut elf, says that you had better be good, because he is keeping an eye on you.
