Is it too late for Easter?

Well, true to form, we have been very slow at getting an update on our blog. Adam has been out of town every weekend since tax season ended, and Camille has been busy keeping Grady entertained. Easter was very fun for us. Adam's dad had some business in Jackson Hole and decided to invite the fam to spend Easter weekend with them at a giant house they had rented. It had a hot tub, giant kitchen, and enough rooms for everyone. It also had some big screen TVs where a lot of Michael Jackson's dance game for Wii was played. The greatest thing about being with Adam's family is that we were able to get some pictures with us together as a family, which is tough to do. We had the pic taken in front of the famous antler arches, but, unfortunately it was a little cold, so Grady was stuck in his blanket for most of the day. Note: Grady did not enjoy those special moments with his blanket. This picture makes us laugh every time we look at it. Grady is so happy to be out of his stroller and free from his cursed blanket!! He is also so proud of himself that he can walk around, which is quite evident in his face. Note: To your left you will notice cousin Max bundled up and checking Grady out. He has a giant frog hat, sucking on his thumb, and has his blanket...Cousin Max fell asleep shortly after this pic was taken, which was too bad because Grady LOVED his cousin. Grady loved him so much, he scratched his face off...sorry Cousin Max.

Of course when you are in Jackson the thing to do is go to all of the shops. In one shop we came across a large moose. Grady thought it was the funniest thing he had ever seen and got the giggles so bad when he would get close to it. Grady wanted nothing to do with the moose when we tried to get him to pet it. So, being the nicest parents in the world, we forced him to sit on the moose and pet him. You can see that he and Camille are laughing in this picture, but Grady was far from comfortable.

After sitting on the moose, Grady sprouted some antlers. Camille then became the uncomfortable one.

We were able to color eggs as a family. Adam's brothers and sisters generally LOVE to color eggs because they are very creative. They do an assortment of designs and faces, which are usually funny. However, once we got up there, we found that we didn't have any markers or good crayons to do designs. So, we just had to do colored eggs.
Grady on the other hand, was just happy to have something to chew on.Easter Sunday was a gorgeous day. We went to church and then came back to the rented house and had a traditional dinner (i.e. deviled eggs, ham, skittles, chocolate, you know, the works). We even were able to sneak in another family picture.

Grady was looking extra sharp in his Easter bow tie and rolled up sleeves. Adam was concerned when Camille said she said she loved getting Easter dresses and wanted Grady to have something similar. In Adam's mind he saw Grady in a dress with white gloves and bow...but he was OK with this Easter look.

On the way home we had to stop as we went over Togwotee Pass. If you look behind our car you will see a giant wall of snow. We measure it to be about 12-15 feet!! It has been snowing non-stop in the mountains. It was odd driving down the road because there were giant walls of snow on both sides. Camille is a meer speck!!
