It is hard to believe that Thanksgiving has come and gone already. This year we split the holiday between our two families. However, we failed to take many pictures...in fact, we only took one, which of course was of Grady, and his first stay in a hotel. There is a good reason for the lack of pictures. Usually picture taking is Adam's job, but here's the story why he failed to take more pictures: On the Saturday before Thanksgiving, Adam said he didn't feel well. On Sunday morning while we were sitting in church, Adam had huge beads of sweat pouring down his face (He claimed he had a fever, but Camille told him to be a man and finish out church). On Monday his throat began to hurt and the fevers got worse and worse. On Tuesday he went to the doctor and found out he had strep. They gave him a shot in the butt (he claims it was extremely painful and was unable to sit for days). Thinking he was ok, he went home and slept for a while. Wednesday, he went to work, but suffered with fevers until noon, when we left for Camille's house. While driving Adam's fevers worsened to the point he kept asking Camille where they were and was disoriented. He spent the rest of the evening in bed. That night and into Thursday morning, Adam's throat from swollen glands and tonsils began to close off and he struggled to breath and swallow. Thursday morning off to the ER. He got more medicine and made it down to Utah to celebrate the joyous day...Note: He found a nice place to sleep for three hours or so...Thanks Natalie!! Camille gorged herself on wonderful food, while Adam ate a few mashed potatoes. Note II: Grady thoroughly enjoyed his first stay in a hotel room on thanksgiving night.
Grady has been eating solids...and tried to pound down some peas. His face says it all.
Adam has been enjoying so many sports lately...football, basketball, etc. While he watches the games he tends to throw a football around (and yell at the top of lungs). Grady just stares at him the entire time he does it. So, while at the last high school game the cheerleaders were throwing out plastic footballs. Adam knowing how to work cheerleaders held up Grady and...plop...a football fell into our laps. Grady loves playing with it...and even yells at the top of his lungs.
Grady is working on his thug skills this week. Not only is he trying to grab everything he sees and shove it into his mouth, but he has gone all gangsta on us. He is sporting his leisure suit...but is missing baby bling because, well, he would chew on it. Note: He loved the felty feeling of the outfit that he just sat there rubbing his tummy.
This picture was included only because Grady wanted to say: "Step off my grill, playa!!"
And he is a cute boy.

Wow...hope Adam is feeling better! Grady is so stinking cute! Glad you guys...well maybe just you, Camille, had a nice Thanksgiving!
SOOOOO fun to hang out with you.. WE love the GRADY boy!! Can't wait to see you soon!
sorry you were so sick, Adam. No fun to be that out of commission on a holiday nonetheless, especially Grady's first Thanksgiving. Glad you are better now! :)
Poor Adam!!! No one should miss the Thanksgiving feast. If it makes you feel any better, Stacy and I took turns in the hospital with Afton from the night before Thanksgiving 'til Friday afternoon. 'Tis the season!!!
Are you guys coming to Rock Springs this weekend!!! Come one...we know you want to!!!
We just want you to know our perfect girl will never terrorize Christmas decorations, or be a Santa-hater...probably...But your little guy is pretty darn cute. Melissa really likes his hooters from the last post!
Oh adam, I'm so sorry to hear about your tonsils and being sick! I had two tonsil attacks like that back to back(had to be hospitalized as well) and they were HORRIBLE. I had them out soon after and they aren't kidding about it being harder on adults than on kids. That surgery wiped me out for weeks! I hope you can avoid such a fate.
Grady is cute as could be, he might just be the cutest li'l thug I've ever seen.
Loved the post...always love the update on your lives. Also I know Grady wanted to say..."Get up off my grill cracka" :) I can just see it in his face!
I like how the only time he is in ganster mode is when he is wearing Ute colors.
So cute. So are you okkay? I just went to the ER with gall bladder problems. AWFUL!
